You need to grow a brain if you think anyone deserves a refund from Netflix for PSN outage. It would be like asking your cable or satellite provider for a refund because your TV is broken.

There certainly are a lot of retards commenting here.

Guess what, just because Netflix worked for you doesn't mean it worked for everyone else. Do you idiots really think that everyone that's complaining that netflix isn't working are lying? Do you think that the often repeated workarounds (just try again / turn off auto sing-in) have not been tried?

There are lots of us that a) signed up for netflix streaming only service through the playstation b) have no access to netflix with PSN down c) have no other good medium to watch it through without the playstation.

Personally I cancelled my account after Netflix did nothing to get their service back online and refused to offer any form of compensation. Screw them, there are plenty of alternatives.

There are multiple hardware versions of the Ps3 and more importantly multiple versions of the Netflix. I am still weary over why that is, but it could be to A/B test improvements which has pros and cons. I think everyone should get the same experience but that's not the case.

I was able to do the 'x' then 'o' trick at the PSN login, but last night mine stopped working. To assume everyone's worked shows your lack of understanding of the technology. To insult their intelligence and the authors is arrogant.

Also, there could be a user who owns a ps3 and no computer(or any other Netflix capable device). You may be confused by this but it is entirely likely. The Netflix app should not be dependent on logining into PSN. Who ever made the business decision to require this should be held responsible.

Netflix did worked but not anymore. Not after firmware update.

And why is Sony making us to sign in to PSN to watch Netflix. I don't want to play a game on PSN. I just want to watch Netflix.

Hey Sony. Where do I need to go to return the PS3?

I'm with you, Janko. Although Netflix has worked for me during the last few weeks (buggy), it has stopped working altogether. As a part of my monthly subscription to Netflix, I'm paying for the convenience to stream content to my television via a PS3 device. So it really doesn't matter whether I can stream this on my phone or computer or get DVDs via mail. I'm paying for a service. PS3 isn't a just a 3rd-party platform, it's one of Netflix's joint venture partners. And in this era when entertainment is becoming more and more commoditized, and with $1 movie-rental boxes popping up on every other corner, it would be in Netflix's best interest to go the extra mile to boost customer loyalty despite this being its joint-venture partner's (Sony) fault/problem. If it's Sony's problem then it's Netflix's problem. If Netflix doesn't like it then it can always choose to end its lucrative business relationship with Sony.

Umm.... Netflix worked no problem during the PSN outage. You could watch it from your Wii, Xbox360, PC, iPad, iPod, oh... and your PS3... we watched something nearly every other day during the PSN outage. Why would they be giving money back?
