If just the hardware, the G-Slate costs $529 after rebate or $30 more than the entry level iPad with half the internal storage and no mobile broadband capabilities. I think you have to look at the whole package (data costs included) but curious as to your thoughts when you say “G-Slate tablet is just too expensive.”

I don’t know how Apple is doing it but I’m surprised to see them having the cheapest priced tablet around. I’m not saying that G-Slate is worth your money but judging from the expert’s reviews, it is a pretty decent gadget that is worth a try. Maybe we can level it somewhere near Xoom but not in the same ranks as Galaxy and iPad 2. Still, we have to give them credit as the first 4G tablet available in the market.
