T. Boone Pickens — BP Capital founder, and creator of the Pickens Plan — hit The Daily Show for the second time in as many years last night. The last time he did a bit with John Stewart was back in late 2008, when Pickens was still mulling over his plan to build the world’s largest wind farm in Texas (2008 clip embedded below).

In Pickens interview last night there was really no mention of wind power, given his wind plans for the Texas panhandle were put on indefinite hold because of the depressed debt market. During last night’s interview, Pickens and Stewart discussed how the country wasn’t any where closer to Obama’s goal to cut out oil from the Middle East within a decade. Check it out below:
