From the folks that brought you the disturbing story of how big auto crushed the EV (Who Killed the Electric Car), comes the much-anticipated follow up: Revenge of the Electric Car. Here’s the movie’s official trailer, which as you can see features interviews with Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk, GM’s Bob Lutz, The New York Time’s Tom Friedman, and various other analysts, entrepreneurs and auto makers. You’ll have to wait until Spring 2011 to see the actual movie:

  1. I read a review of the Nissan Leaf that said the range predictor varies wildly depending on your driving style, and if you get stuck you’re looking at a 17-hour recharge. I think GM had a better idea with the Volt. For many commutes it will operate as an all-electric, but its backup gas engine ensures you won’t get stranded.
