Summary:

Fox.com became the latest and final broadcast network to block its online video streams from appearing on Google TV-powered devices. The news comes after ABC, CBS and NBC had all previously blocked their shows on devices from TVs and Blu-ray players from Sony and Logitech set-top boxes.

The final shoe has dropped: Fox.com became the latest and final broadcast network to block its online video streams from appearing on Google TV-powered devices, according to a report on GTVHub.

We haven’t been able to verify the story — we’re about knee deep in our annual NewTeeVee Live conference, where Google TV product lead Rishi Chandra just said that cord-cutting is “not happening” — but if true, the disappearance of Fox.com videos on Google TV means that all four major broadcast networks are keeping users from being able to watch full-length TV episodes on those devices. ABC, CBS and NBC had all previously blocked their shows online from being accessed around the same time Google TV devices from Logitech and Sony first appeared on shelves.
