Research in Motion isn’t keeping the BlackBerry 6 love to just the Torch; today, it announced the BlackBerry Bold 9780, featuring the new OS. The Bold has been a very popular handset for RIM, and this updated model expands on the features made popular with the line.

The famous BlackBerry keyboard is represented nicely on the new Bold, and the 2.44-inch display runs at a decent resolution (480×360). The GSM handset (HSPA only) has Wi-Fi and GPS onboard for maximum utility. The Bold 9780 also sports UMA, so although RIM has not announced the carriers that will handle the new Bold, T-Mobile is a safe bet. The Bold 9780 will be available in November.
