San Mateo, Calif.-based uCIRRUS has raised $4 million from SK telecom ventures, Qualcomm (NSDQ: QCOM) Ventures and ATA Ventures. The company is trying to come up with solutions that can handle the “explosion of data moving across networks, and into storage.” Mostly, it’s targeting the enterprise as companies want to quickly tap into customer data on mobile devices.

The money will be used to support customer growth and speed up the company’s product roadmap. Rob Trice of SK telecom ventures and Mike Hodges of ATA Ventures will join the board of directors and Jack Young of Qualcomm Ventures will become a board observer.
