I have really given Posterous a run and am rooting for the team, who are really nice but I opted for Tumblr because I am worried about Posterous' long term viability - remember Vox? It was super easy too.

Also Posterous had an ugly audio player and no archive feature. I am not ruling them out because I like where they are going but I wqnt to see a stronger user base before I commit my content.

I am so happy with Posterous, from a utility, workflow and rich presentation perspective. Case in point, whereas my long form TypePad blog, has yielded me ~450 posts in five years, Posterous has yielded me 900 posts in ONE year.

It works that well.

As the company gets better at making content capture both seamless and structured (both on the import side and outbound auto-post side), they are well positioned to be the curation toolset for the web.

Cheers,
