Like a lot of publishers over the past year, Time Inc. (NYSE: TWX) has been building up its marketing business as it looks for additional revenue streams. Last week, the company reorganized its consumer marketing unit with a number of executive promotions. At the heart of the changes is the creation of a Digital Marketing and Business Development group. Time Inc. is still looking for the point person to head that area up. But in the meantime, Steve Sachs, Time Inc.’s EVP for consumer marketing, has tapped Sports Illustrated’s Ken Fuchs as VP Emerging Platforms, for Business Development.

The changes come just as former Meredith Corp. (NYSE: MDP) exec Jack Griffin has arrived to succeed the retiring Ann Moore as CEO of Time Inc. last month. Griffin was often credited with helping refine Meredith’s deeper immersion into marketing services over the past few years.

Fuchs will lead Time Inc.
