The major Chinese video sites apparently are now trying to play nice with Hollywood. Youku, which boasts more than 200 million views a month, is now showing some content from Walt Disney (NYSE: DIS), under an agreement between the two companies. A Disney spokeswoman confirms that the company has provided content to Youku, although she wouldn’t provide other details.

IDG News Service, which first reported on the deal, says Youku is currently showing five seasons of ABC’s Desperate Housewives, with Chinese subtitles.
