Thanks for the post, information about energy economy and smart homes always pleases my heart.
I am so glad technologists are working on it, and I hope so much I’ll live to the day energy management is conventional no matter how far from your house you are. I also hope it’s well bound with, say, solar batteries which you could remotely hide if there’s a storm in your area, and wind mills which you can switch off if there’s still weather outside.
