Seriously? The Magic Mouse should not be anywhere near this list! It offers a lot more capability than any other mouse, and with an app like MagicPrefs you can do almost anything with it.

In fact, now I hate using regular mice. I’ve become so used to simply swiping and tapping.

I regret the iPod Shuffle I bought a generation or two back.(the version just before it went button-less) I was buying it primarily for use when hiking, jogging, biking, etc… just exercise stuff since I didn’t want to destroy my HDD-based iPod classic with all the sudden-jerky movements that come with exercising.

The problem is that I largely only ever listen to audiobooks and podcasts these days and quickly found that the screen-less shuffle to be a bit of a pain with long files. I was listening to David Copperfield and accidentally hit ‘back’ instead of ‘pause’ and reset my place in a 4-hour audio file. Trying to then re-find my place was nigh-impossible without having a screen to tell me where I was at in the file.

I think the shuffle’s a great product, but for what I wanted to use it for… it just wasn’t right and I totally regret buying it. Luckily, it didn’t cost all that much. I ended up buying a nano and passing the shuffle on to a family member.

I can only agree with the first and last. Ipod touch 1st gen was like buying… i can’t even think of a good comparison. Only that it wasn’t good. ha ha. and seriously why buy a battery charger from apple when you can get a much better deal and quality charger from energizer or duracell? I like my mbpro and mouse though.

I must be a real retard for I still own and use daily my iPod Touch 3G. Of course I’d rather have a newer one, or even better an iPhone, and will eventually when all those contracts are settled, but I consider the Touch served me very well.

I think the people who are upset are pointing out that for things like the MacBook and the charger, he should have been aware of those limitations before purchasing. I can’t help but thinking, “Sucks for you dude.” I don’t want to be like that, but you just have to visit an Apple store or at least read a little bit. And you do have the option to return the products you purchase within a certain time limit (is two weeks instead of thirty days now?).

It’s like he made impulse purchases (it’s shiny / it might work), isn’t happy with the product, and implies these things are flawed or defective at the beginning of the article.

My tone in responding to the Microsoft mouse sounded terrible. It’s a great mouse for my desktop PC, but like anything with a scroll wheel, it gunks up and it’s hard to clean. I wasn’t specifically calling them out because of the brand. I just take a damp cloth and can easily wipe over the Apple Mouse, where I’m taking a pick or something to clean the gook out of other, typically older mice.
