Tango, an app that allows you to make video calls over 3G, is proving to be a big hit. Tango, which is based in Palo Alto, Calif., launched at our Mobilize 2010 conference last week. The app first hit the iTunes app store on the evening of  Sept. 29 and by Oct. 1, it was the number one free Social Networking app in Italy, Belgium, France and Luxembourg. In the U.S., it was the number  three app in the free Social Networking category. Tango has quickly become the number one overall app in Italy, and number 2 two overall app in France.

Tango, which is also available on Android, is getting a lot of positive reviews. At our event, it was the belle of the ball. The reason Tango is getting so much attention is because it makes video calling dead simple, and we like that. Check out how it works.
