@drewp Factual is a developer platform for accessing high quality data aggregated and structured from many sources: partnerships, crowdsourcing, and through a proprietary machine learning stack. An important distinction is that Factual aggregates the data from many sources and offers it direct to developers, while SimpleGeo offers a valuable set of geo-specific tools and an interesting marketplace for 3rd party data providers. In theory, Factual could be a data provider in the SimpleGeo marketplace.
