Yeah, it’s right up there with “I’m a PC, and I fight for the users” last year; not that either one is bad, per se, just that the single most uncool thing is trying to be cool.

Fortunately, Tron fandom is far too robust to be affected by a corporate ad; memes-of-the-month are far more ephemeral, and I’ll bet your prognosis is correct.

I think the cool thing about the ad is that you actually see the guy, who was previously behind the camera.
