This article makes an important point. I'm currently running 3 cloud based services and they're constantly syncing with the cloud. My CPU is always @ 33% or higher. I'm curious as to what people think the impact on the computer requirements will be? Does this break or change the old CPU/software relationship? Will it be a CPU dedicated to local activity and one dedicated to the cloud?

I believe you meant Adsense, not Adwords....
We also have the cloud model where you utilize existing cloud services, in my case, Amazon and ibooks on iTunes, to distribute products and collect payments in exchange for a 30% revenue share. You do wait for your initial payment, like Adsense, but you have no costs associated with inventory, payment gateways, delivery, returns or collections. This, of course, only works with digital products like eBooks or apps.

For the first time, its actually feasible for start ups and non-IT professional orgs to offer a primary or auxiliary IT service.
