Zynga, the game-maker best known for Farmville and Mafia Wars, has acquired Tokyo, Japan-based Unoh, which will become the basis for the company’s mobile efforts in the country.

The acquisition closely follows the $150 million investment in Zynga by Japanese telecom powerhouse Softbank, which led to the creation of a joint venture between the two companies. Zynga did not disclose how much it paid, but rumors fluctuated between $12 million and $30 million.
