Disappointed in what? You are receiving free cases that otherwise would cost you around $30. This ‘glitch’ only affects 0.55% of all the phones out there, meaning that there is a 99.45% chance that you are not one of them and you are still complaining about Mr. Jobs giving you a free case to fix a problem that doesn’t even exist for you. What a bunch of whiners we have become. Maybe you should go back on leave.

Bought a IPhone 4 case from AT&T. I was told I could fill out the rebate form on the Apple store and get a rebate. Well, Apple is only giving a rebate for 6 specific bumpers – not cases. This is a disingenuous offer from Apple. Their bean counters have probably figured out they will limit the cost/exposure by making people wait weeks for cases and limiting the models they will reimburse. Apple is acting like a medical insurance company. I am so disappointed in Jobs. Maybe he should go back on medical leave

@theappleblog, I’d love to see a breakdown of the cases and bumpers being offered. I have to assume there are pros and cons for each and the app although slick, leaves something to be desired as far as knowing which is the choice for you. Any chance you may follow up on the options for us iPhone 4 peeps?

I got my iPhone 4 today. When I got home from the store, I downloaded the iPhone 4 case app and ordered the case. It took about five minutes total. No issues at all.

The latest screw up by Apple and Steve Jobs is now in full swing with this program. You can only be reimbursed if you bought your case at Apple or ATT stores. I purchased my case at BestBuy and after a forty-five minute holdfest with Apple I was told there would be no refunds for third party purchases thus completing the loss of any good will I formerly held for this company. Way to go Apple, lose a good customer to save thirty bucks
