The only problem with the pulse pen is, if your handwriting sucks, when you give your notes to someone else your handwriting still sucks even after you put it through the computer. There’s a cheaper option called a pen and paper with a audio recorder. You can find one for around $40. The HDD thing, your better off getting a Time Capsule because chances are your dorm is only going to have one ethernet line, plus if you get it through the education store its about $30 less too or you could go to ebay or amazon.

Pretty disappointed in this post. Students are not money bags. Point out some deals to them. The only thing that was a deal on this list is the apple care. There are cheaper good in-ear buds out there. Instead of pointing out the most convenient one, point out a good one for a bargain price.

Also, while I am not a student, as a professor I am eligible for the Apple back to school discount. How about pointing out that if you buy a computer, you get (1) a discount, (2) free ipod, (3 – and something I did not knwo when I bougth my Macbook Air) eligible for a free printer. Now this is useful info most people don’t know. I didn’t. I would have a pretty nice printer now if I did know it.

Come on people. I expect more from you. Or did you just get paid to point out these specific products? You can do better. I know you can.

cool thing is you actually get a $30 discount on iWork when bought with a computer, so it gets down to $50…pretty good deal IMO
