SPRINT MOST DEFINATELY CAN COMPETE WITH VERIZON AND ATT! I had an iPhone 3gs on att and then switched over to Sprint for the HTC EVO 4G and its amazing. The EVO is a billion times better than the iPhone 4.

I think it would be pretty cool if they merged and we could choose both CDMA and GSM type phones. With Sprint's awesome prices, adding the ability to put any phone you want on their service would be like the ultimate freedom. Sort of.

would make a lot more sense for sprint to buy both cricket and metroPCS, and for AT&T to buy or merge with t-mobile. it just makes a lot more sense to buy companies using the same technology so that the network can be merged together.

Right now it seems neither Sprint or T-Mobile can compete with Verizon and AT&T. Despite all the trouble with the iphone 4 these two carriers are not even close. They should merge so that they have a chance to compete..

True enough, Kevin. Seems like this only makes sense when everything has gotten to the point of doing voice-over-LTE. There are still some significant transition schedules within carriers. Some LTE fans think that it resolves the GSM/CDMA conflict, but even if Verizon lit up 100 million LTE users tomorrow - they will be running voice over CDMA for quite a while.
