GfK Chart-Track says UK hardware and software sales for first half of the year came in at £963 million — down from £1.14 billion last year, MCV reports.

Game software sales dipped 10 percent to £533 million, but hardware sales slumped 32 percent to £256 million as ownership of current-generation consoles beds in.
