Summary:

Much like this year’s Coachella, the 2010 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival will be live-streamed. But this time, it’s YouTube doing the honors, and the line-up of performances available is much improved, including Jay-Z, Dave Matthews Band, Norah Jones and Tenacious D.

Most of what I’ve heard about the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival indicates that it’s like Coachella, but with mud instead of desert. And this year, like Coachella, when the festival starts on Friday it’ll be live-streamed.

Unlike Coachella, however, this live-streaming will happen through YouTube, and the line-up of performances that will be available, as plugged in this trailer, is a big improvement.

The list includes Jay-Z, Tenacious D, Dave Matthews Band, Damian Marley & Nas, The Dead Weather, Norah Jones, The National, Regina Spektor, Julia Nunes, Spearhead, John Butler Trio, Zac Brown Band and Carolina Chocolate Drops. The full schedule is below:

YouTube has the exclusive on this broadcast, but if you can live without video, NPR will be broadcasting audio from the fest in full, with some performances available later on demand. And we’ll update this post with other viewing options if they become available.
