But when I click it nothing seems to happen.

&lt;p&gt;I sorta take offense in that statement :) Quix was designed by me, it was absolutely inspired by Shortwave, which is an awesome idea but it does a lot more, and allows for a lot more.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Shortwave can only redirect you, whereas Quix can actually insert javascript into the current page, allowing you to do stuff like the &#039;find&#039; command in the screenshot that&#039;s shown above.&lt;/p&gt;
