&lt;p&gt;For those who don&#039;t know, the &quot;thumbs up/thumbs down&quot; system is a proven method for converting lurkers into posters. The simplicity pulls them in.  Kampyle seems to use it effectively based on demos.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Anyone know of competitors to them or other systems with a nice layering aspect like this?&lt;/p&gt;]]></description>
