We put out a site that is similar, except is specifically oriented to the RSS PUSH ( Cloud ) feeds, so the updates go instantly to twitter / facebook / etc. instead of having to wait. It is in its infancy and resources are limited, but we've open sourced the code and would encourage help. It's done in django. http://code.google.com/p/instafeed/ http://instafeed.net

Thanks for sharing this.

I hadn't seen it mentioned anywhere else in my usual reading. I use TwitterFeed and another service that Tweets my Google Reader Shared items, but I am always looking for ways to improve the delivery. In fact, I shared this item on Reader before I had time to come and comment here.

Thanks for the info. Keep it coming!

It's a good, well thought out service. I've used and tested all of the RSS to Twitter tools. FeedBurner is slow, only tweeting once per hour, and very unreliable. Twitterfeed is every 30 minutes (what happened to their PuSH support?), and it also is unreliable. Dlvr.it lets you poll your feeds down to 15-minute intervals. That's still too slow for me, but it's better than the others. Dlvr.it is also more reliable than the others, and the UI is far superior.

However, in my line of work (corporate disclosure) speed is everything. I'd like to see Dlvr.it support pubsubhubbub and real-time tweets. Two RSS to Twitter services currently support it, but they lack stats. With PuSH support, Dlvr.it would be worth paying for.

I used to use Twitter feed, but now Feedburner pushes your feed to Twitter, so no use. This one looks a little more sophisticated. For people who not have Feedburner, this can be a good alternative.
