There is a simple solution to core problem of consumer tracking. Put consumer's in control by giving them ownership of all the data advertisers use to decide what products/services ads that consumer sees. But advertisers and marketing professionals aren't going to like it because all the expertise and technology they've developed on how to guess what people want based click behavior, past purchases and demographic info becomes fully obsolete.

Why guess at what people want to buy when you could use modern technology to just let them tell you. duh!
