If you need a 15/17 inch MBP wait. The next upgrades will have a 1920 x 1080 screen (MBP 15″). Great for HD. I imagine Apple will offer BlueRay R/W to as well as an HDMI port.

The smart buyers will hold out on buying a new MacBook Pro, anyway, as long as this stalemate goes on.
