It’s Tuesday and that can only mean it’s time for our weekly feature, the BlackBerry Buzz. The Buzz is where you’ll find out what’s been going on in the BlackBerry brambles. You’ll hear about everything that’s worth knowing in the awesome world of the BlackBerry. Microsoft only recently made Office Web Apps available for those who just can’t wait for Office 2010, and what some folks don’t realize is that Web Apps are accessible via phones. That includes the BlackBerry too, at least those running OS 4.x and newer. Now BlackBerry owners can only view documents using Office Web Apps, but at least they are accessible.

Foursquare is a Location Based Service with a social networking bent that is growing by leaps and bounds, but so far BlackBerry addicts have been left out in the cold. That will change soon as the Foursquare folks say a beta is being tested and will be available to BlackBerries in early December. Last I checked, as of today it is early December, so not long to wait.

Winners have been announced for the BlackBerry Alliance EMEA Innovation Awards. The Awards are given out by Research In Motion in recognition for good work in the BlackBerry world. Top awards announced included Poynt and 7Digital.
