I-CD Publishing, owner of UK business listings site 192.com, has resolved a lengthy dispute with a former director over the ownership of a leading Russian social network.

In December last year the UK company sued Albert Popkov, who in 2006 founded Odnoklassniki.ru while — it was claimed — he was an I-CD employee.

Popkov consistently denied that, but the matter has now ended by an undisclosed out-of-court payment, according to sources quoted by Russian paper Vedomosti (via Yakov).

Popkov worked as I-CD’s software director between 2000 and 2006. Odnoklassniki –“my classmates” — has become a hot property in Russia, notching up 13.1 million members in September, according to TNS Web Index stats.
