Prime View International, like Acer, Benq, Asus, Foxconn, and other Taiwan companies DESIGN other company's products, which is why they are termed ODM (original design manufacturers). Yet writers keep saying they merely "assemble" products like laptops and cellphones like the google mytouch. Articles on the googlephone, for instance, say how the CEO of HTC agreed with Google not to brand the phone as an HTC, even though HTC designed and built it. Ditto for so many other gadgets. The Harvard Business Review even said that the Taiwanese are really outsourcing branding to bigger names like Sony and HP. Please give the Taiwanese some credit.
