As Nitin said reliability, reliability, reliability! But, even if they start to demonstrate a solid service I still will be leary of them in this space because of their questionable customer service ethics and lack of forward thinking business practices.

I would be interested if I were an enterprise customer but only once AT&T delivered on its existing data services without ongoing problems. I would want my iPhone data service to work solidly before I bet my business data and compute needs on AT&T. Until they get their own business right with reliability they don’t have the credibility to take on the established players on the latter’s turf.

What’s the first thing that pops into your mind when you say “iPhone 3G service”? I rest my case.
