We’re still waiting for you to explain how China Unicom is going to push their own app store in place of Apple’s App Store for iPhone user, Sebastian, especially since Chinese users have been using the App Store day in and day out, whether on unlocked grey market iPhones or iPod touches.

It’s not like you can go to a website and click “Download” and an app magically installs itself.

Sure, there are less apps on Apple’s China App Store but you still go through the App Store (which Chinese iPod touch users have been doing for a long time now.)

So enlighten us – this Unicom app store – how does an iPhone user downloads apps from it without going though Apple’s store?

China Unicom has heavily trumpeted its app store.
