These programs give me the flexibility to work from home and stay in direct contact with my workforce and my clients.
Planning ahead of time is also a great way to make sure you have all your answers before beginning a project. I know that you won't know what questions may arise, but having a set time to communicate is definitely beneficial. The company RHUB has software for web conferences that also has many other uses, like remote PC access. Their website is: http://www.rhubcom.com

#Andrew "Solution? Bill them for the final half anyway. Assure them that I will be available to complete the work on their time table, but that I want to get paid on mine."

agreed, but make sure it's in the contract.

It's especially frustrating when the party you're waiting on is the one who contracted you to do the work. I have a client who insisted that their new site was a high priority and needed to be done ASAP. Once I got it framed out and began asking for the content, the emails slowed to a trickle. There's still half of my contract payment dangling in front of my face, and all it would take is a few paragraphs of text from them to be done.
Solution? Bill them for the final half anyway. Assure them that I will be available to complete the work on their time table, but that I want to get paid on mine.
