These programs give me the flexibility to work from home and stay in direct contact with my workforce and my clients. Since I have been using this software and working from home and on the road, I have actually been reaching and exceeding deadlines at a rate that exceeds what I was able to achieve from the office.

I know that you won’t know what questions may arise, but having a set time to communicate is definitely beneficial. I have a client who insisted that their new site was a high priority and needed to be done ASAP. Once I got it framed out and began asking for the content, the emails slowed to a trickle. There’s still half of my contract payment dangling in front of my face, and all it would take is a few paragraphs of text from them to be done.
Solution? Bill them for the final half anyway. Assure them that I will be available to complete the work on their time table, but that I want to get paid on mine.
