Short sighted article.
Looks like those who jumped on the 330 millions share offer
are not smarter.
PALM’s momemntum has not stopped.
They launched GSM pre and are improvising the OS.
For all the bells and whistles Android is not well designed OS, specially the UI.
All PALM needs is a phone with larger screen and a bigger processor , which can be done by PALM

In addition, it was reported (on TheStreet.com) that “sources” of some type have suggested Verizon’s “support” of the Pre will be minimal. Unfortunately, we just get to guess what that means.

Right now Palm is putting into the practice the not-necessarily-correct technique of:

We’ll see if that works. They’ve had multiple injections of cash now and, top date, it has not worked other than to keep them alive. It’ll be interesting if they can use their now-mountain of cash NOT for the Pixi, but some way-cool followon device that hasn’t already been surpassed by the competitors.
