HealthGuru Media, which runs health info site HealthGuru.com, has raised $3.2 million in a third round of funding led by Castile Ventures. Existing investor Village Ventures also participated. The video-heavy health site is geared towards 18- to 40-year-olds and features content on conditions, such as pregnancy, sexual health, and college health, that are relevant to that dempgraphic. Traffic to the site has nearly quintupled over the last year; the site had more than 500,000 unique visitors last month, according to Compete figures. New funds will be used in part to “help the company expand its channels for traffic acquisition.” Release (via PEHub).
