Given the fact that ZillionTV needs to continue to develop its service for consumer appeal, through more content and broader distribution, it’s clear that this was a necessary move (as was the layoff round, given that VCs will scrutinize the company’s fiscal responsibility). This is a challenging space, and I feel from a business perspective, ZillionTV is in a better space to secure round-C funding than it was three weeks ago.
