It blocks some afternoon glare coming from the windows on the west side of our office building.

As I said before, you can use control-zero to go back to the original or default size of the screen presentation.

Working in graphics I found that the so called ‘raster burn’ was exerted more on liquid displays rather than the conventional tubes. Also LED displays tend to present colors more vividly (contrasted), asserting the strain on your eyes.

Glasses do take some getting used to but mine are very comfortable – most of the time I don’t remember I have them on and have even stepped into the shower and turned on the water before I realized I still had them on!
