You have got to be kidding. Apple would have to fall a long way to be at Blackberry’s level. Besides, Apple has been the World’s Most Admired Company for three years in a row (according to fortune magazine). They don’t appear to be falling behind. They seem to be maintaining their position at the top.

Dude, Apple is actually really smart. What they do is they put out an ipod touch without a speaker. After everyone gets excited about it they put in a speaker. That makes people go “Aww man, Now I gotta get that one!!!” And then to make it even better they decide to now put a microphone and and camera in it. Uh oh… now what do people do? They get rid of their old ones and buy new ones. So by the time apple is done upgrading the ipod touch all of the time, One person has just got rid of and rebought 3 ipod touches! I think that’s smart. Not to mention the fact that they are now coming out with a “suprise” product for 2010 that no one has any clue about and the media is advertising it constantly. That is gonna get people excited.

I for one, thought they were going to introduce one this summer, but to everyone’s disappointment, Apple never really released a new iTouch in 2009. Therefor missing the 2009 Holiday sales period.

Come on Apple, you are starting to fall behind other manufacturers like blackberry, etc. Pisck up the pace and release the new iTouch as soon as possible in 2010. It’s long over due for an upgrade on the iTouch design. Nothing major has been redesigned on the iTouch since 2008.

I want to get a new iTouch but feel the current versions released this past September 2009, are just a waste of money should a camera, microphone and radio be built into the next iTouch generation.

It just seems like Apple isn’t coming out with tooo many “earth-shaking” redesigns or updates anymore.
Maybe the company is loosing it’s innovation and can’t keep up with other competitors like it used to be able to?

Come on Apple, wake up.
