There’s a new version of the Roku box on the way that adds 80211.n wireless support, a USB port, and a 2.5A power input (compared with the 1.5A on the older box). Engadget got the scoop and some pics of the new Roku XR, but sadly no details on price or availability.

We heart the old Roku box here at NewTeeVee. It’s simple, small, and has an easy-to-justify price tag of $99. Plus, the company is supposed to expand its over-the-top video channels beyond Netflix, Amazon and MLB by the end of the year. (We know Revision3 content is on its way.)
