I probably use Yelp more than any of my other apps...besides maybe Tetris! Thanks for this article. There are waaay too many apps for me (or anyone) to try them all or read all of the reviews, so I always appreciate these roundups!

Hi Dawn

We have an app called Alive Text which can be used to create SMS/txt and Email template message. You can also group your favorites and link them to a matching set of messages, its cool.

I found an answer to my own questions. SocialFlyr does a great job of creating flyrers and sending them to fb twitter etc

Do you know of any apps to distribute and create digital flyers? Like we used to do on the campus bulletin board?

I use a g1, so all my apps are from the Android Market. Here are a few of my favorites:
Aldiko – Book reader and downloader
Archipelago – One of the best games I’ve found for Android
ConnectBot – SSH client
Angband – Roguelike ascii game
Backgrounds – Collection of images on Flickr that are the correct dimensions to use as Android backgrounds
k9 Mail – Superb mail client
Alarm Clock – Because I won’t wake up on my own.
RideTrac – Bicycle tracking software
wpToGo – WordPress app, I seldom use this but when I do it’s a lifesaver.

I also like the linkedin app (I use linked in a fair bit), and I also find the wikipedia app quite useful from time to time. Both are free.
