Consumers: Similar to the nascent smart grid market (as explained in a subscription-only GigaOM Pro report) some of the key unresolved questions for Car 2.0 are to what degree consumers would prefer to actively monitor and control battery charging and other vehicle functions, which user interfaces will be preferred for those purposes, and which business models and product capabilities will entice consumers to make efficient use of networked vehicles while assuaging their concerns about privacy, cost, security and vehicle range.
