I downloaded it last week and they say it is the same traffic used by Tom Tom, Mapquest and others.

The traffic maps sure helped me last Friday when I was headed to Lake Tahoe. Seems to be more accurate than traffic on google maps. I also tried waze, but it was really disappointing – no road coverage and slow.

Why on earth they left other platforms ? This sucks.

I wish , hope and pray that google adds such features to their google maps.

These are invaluable , especially when you are trapped on a highway.

The days of using maps ( which is the best way even now) is gone. Now that everyone is on GPS or Google maps , it helps to get real time traffic information so that folks can travel smart and travel quick.

Its a huge opportunity for all the developers to start writing for RIM, PALM, WinMo , Andriod and Symbian.
