You missed the point of the arcticle. The author isn’t talking about personal devices, they are talking about devices used by a company or attraction for whatever purpose they need. For example, a museum may use it to load information on ehibits and mass uploading of their content will be faster. I totally agree in your respect to personal devices with this product though.

And by the way, it’s useless to open 20 iPod and iPhones with the iTunes. You know why? Because each iPod/iPhone is individually paired with a particular iTunes so if you’re thinking you can use someone else’s iTunes to sync songs/videos etc without erasing your entire iPod or iPhone, THINK AGAIN.

This device doesn’t have much use even in the corporate world or tourist world. For one, a tourist centre or university centre is going to need (if it needs) a charger that works with not only iPhone and iPods but all other cellphone and mobile devices. Not everyone carries an iPhone or iPod.
