Several new search engines are there that offer innovative search results along with other utilities to provide the users with better search experience. For instance, Bing that offers real-time search results. It offers cash back facilities, too. AAfter.com cash-back search is one that also offers such facilities of real-time search as well as cash back coupon offers. Other facilities like reverse phone lookup, URL shortening services, local news covering services, and lots more are too offered by the site. users can give it a scoop.

Although the 10 blue links may not be attractive, they do provide for a very lucrative business. Google users automatically focus on the "sweet spot" on the page (the top one or two search results) and usually ignore everything else. In the cases where Google shows a sponsored link in the sweet spot, they get very high click through rates on their most expensive ad inventory. This is how the company makes the majority of its revenue. While SERP innovation may be better for the user, it won't happen if it negatively affects the bottom line.
