Hopefully all the applications will now be fool proof (if that is for what Google delayed it's Beta removal). Let us see has Google covered all ends before taking this decision or is it just for the sake of avoiding all those discussions floating around the word about it.

Actually, I think Google Apps Contacts is still in alpha. Lack of full vCard data field support, can't export to vCard, can't attach to an email as a vCard, can't sync with Plaxo, can't sync with LinkedIn, can't sync with Facebook, can't SMS from the contact to their cell phone, MS Outlook Sync still not fully working ... Yep, I'd call that Alpha.

I just checked and the Contacts app of Google Apps is still in Beta according to my Google Apps dashboard. I guess they weren't ready to completely drop the beta. Still nice to finally have a seal of approval on everything else.

I couldnt understand how any company or institution would go with Google Apps when Google didnot have the courage to remove the Beta label. Not that having a Beta means anything, but most enterprises wouldnt approve Beta softwares for critical systems like mail and document storage.
