		<description><![CDATA[Excellent article Joe! I believe that many businesses are or will be looking more seriously into the hybrid approach to address the challenges of the tomorrow. Anyways, I do believe that consolidation will always be one of the main goals of the IT departments even if we are talking about classical approaches (private or colo datacenter), public cloud or hybrid solutions.
On the other hand, I don&#039;t think I totally agree with the hypothesis that consolidation (ie environment simplification and increased manageability) means single data center, so availability and geographic dispersions could theoretically still be achieved, but they usually require solid investments in the IT.
