Is GigaOm just leveraging every mention of Twitter and going opposite of the wave to get more page views?
Having been part of a massive startup hype cycle, the high highs and the bitter attacks that come when it inevitably crashes, i want to grab the twitter guys by their ears and tell them to dial it down. They need to fire their PR agency (that is incented to drive the hype), carefully ramp down the frequency of their exposure, and focus on their team and product. Please.
