Google (s goog) has changed its policy around trademarked ad words. In essence, if you’re an online store selling Steve Madden shoes, you can now use the trademark in Google ads. Given teh slowdown the ad-economy, you might want to try again and see if this time they reject your proposal and are unreasonable.

We once posted an Adwords ad with the title “Mozilla Killah,” and Google rejected it because we had misspelled “killer.” It took endless arguing to get them to be reasonable. This seems to be a common phenomenon throughout Google.
