It’s likely more of a “delay the approval longer so we can keep our constituents (ISPs) happy and, by association, our bank accounts full”.

Essentially we need not just the government involved, but the people too… most people in Congress aren’t going to alienate those that keep them rich without good cause, and the FCC has a history of rolling over for whoever has the biggest bank account.

It’s time to stand up for your digital selves, America.
