I love following my friends with Twitter and never know what will turn up. Today Peter Rojas of gdgt tweeted that the development house BSQUARE has been hired to port Flash to the Android platform. Peter is a great guy and has the best cred of anyone I know so I take this a little more seriously than most tweets. Flash on Android will be a great thing and I find it interesting that Adobe isn’t getting it ported everywhere a lot faster. A lot has been said of Adobe’s failure to port Flash to the iPhone and I find it curious that another firm would be contracted to port it to Android. You’d think that Adobe would want Flash to be running everywhere but it doesn’t seem that they want that. It’s a strange mobile tech world.

  1. They never really ported it to Palm 0S either.
